Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs are a navigational trail that shows users where they are on a website and how to get back to previous pages. They usually appear near the top of a page, formatted like:

Home > Category > Subcategory > Current Page

Why Breadcrumbs Matter

  • Improve user experience by helping visitors quickly move between page levels.
  • Reduce bounce rate by offering easy navigation routes.
  • Boost SEO by reinforcing site structure and internal linking. With schema markup, breadcrumbs can also appear in Google search results, improving click-through rates.
