The hottest event in consumer tech where the business gets done is just around the corner. CES 2020 hosted in Las Vegas is going to happen from January 7-10, 2020.
This year is likely going to be the year of 5G phones, see-through TV’s and hyper-fast laptops. CES 2020 is expected to represent 170000 techies from worldwide. This will have 4500 exhibitors across 2.9 million square feet of space along with 1200 startups in its Eureka park section which is 1,100 up from the last year.

CES 2020 Highlights – What to Expect?
1. Remote Health Monitoring
The health monitors to be shown at CES 2020 will be smarter, smaller and wearable-free. Entrepreneurs will develop it for hospitals for monitoring patients overnight, retailers for preventing theft and home security systems for recognizing a face, going far beyond the baby monitoring space.
2. Wearable Augmented Reality (AR)
Earlier the technologies were smartphones and tablets but now entrepreneurs are building augmented reality with low power computer vision into next-generation wearable devices. Human capable Norm Glasses is going to be the best innovation in CES 2020’s personal audio and headphones. Through Norm Glasses, users can listen, send texts, and make phone calls and more. These glasses include dual speakers and are still lighter than many eyeglasses that contain no electronics.
3. Internet of Things (IoT) Kitchen Appliances
This year’s top contenders will be the appliances used to store, prepare and cook. Last year, ‘it was Impossible Burger 2.0’ who catch the eyes of everyone and make it a mention in leading tech publishers – Digital Trends as “Top tech of CES 2019”. In 2020 smart appliances are expected to bleed into the health services space. Consumers will expect their smart fridges and pantries to plan meals and macronutrients.
4. Personal Translators
At CES 2020, the Langogo’s translators are due to be shown. These translators are important in two ways, first its fast, within a second, Langogo’s device can translate speech from more than 100 languages. Second, it has an embedded eSIM, meaning it doesn’t rely on a smartphone that may or may not have service in a foreign country.
